School Physical at school?

So I just moved and the new school is year round. I'm going to 9th grade. I'm 14. We got a paper that said I will need to be prepared to strip to my underwear and they might check privates. They said they will have a proffessional doctor and it had the name. I am nervous because he is male. So he is going to see my b*****s and v****a and butt? What will he do with my privates?

We had to sign a permission slip and had the option of going to our regular doctor or not doing it at all but my mom said I am definatly going. Im soooo nervous!!!

I have never had my privates checked so what are the exams like?

Why won't your mom take you to your regular doctor? Have you talked to her and told her that you are not comfortable going to this school doctor? If I were you I would explain to her that you are not comfortable with it and hopefully she will take you to your regular pediatrician. I would never make my kids go to a school doctor they didn't know.

If it is as per the rules of the school,you need to get it done or else you will have to miss your studies. I don't see any thing wrong in that,however you can find oput details before the check why it is so much important.If you feel satisfied go ahead and get it done.

Why didn't your mom want you to go to your regular doctor?  That's what I would have done.  We've moved before and the school required a physical form to be filled out by a physician, but I took her to our doctor for that.  Tell your mom you would prefer your regular doctor to do the exam.  If she still insists, I would have her in there with you.

that happened to me but in 5th grade bacause a girl found out that she had breast cancer and they had to check us idk why but they checked the girls at the school

If it is school sponsored they probably have some old doctor that hasn't had a real job in 30 years.

He'll probably just probe a bit to see if he can get a rise.....

No seriously, make sure you have your mother with you during the physical.    This is not a serious question so it really doesn't deserve a serious answer, but in the case of any young lady worried about a physical exam, make sure you have your mother with you.

He will press on your b*****s, look inside your v****a, check your a**s for any bleeding and send you on your merry way.  You'd better get used to it because not every doctor you see in your life is going to be female.

hmm thats odd. when i had mine it was just like a check-up. nothing with underwear and privates.  

you shouldnt be nervous though, he is a professional and has probably been doing this for many years and the only reason he would need to do that is for your own health and to make sure you are healthy.

Wow i have never herd o fthat before. Were do you live? You have to just remeber that this doctore will see you as a patient not as a person, he just wants to help you so be very calm. if you get nervouse it will just be more scary. I would never make my kid do this, why is your school doing this anyways?
