  1. We just had pictures at my sons school. An 8 x 10 on this order form is $10.

  2. I just got my daughter's form for school pictures here in Europe. This is what you get in a package (measurements are in centimeters):

    1 13x18 photo

    2 9x13 photos

    4 6x9 photos

    1 13x18 sepia photo

    16 sticker photos

    1 class photo

The cost for this package is € 13,50. Or converted: $21.35.

Wow, I guess we are lucky! It seems a little crazy to pay $15.00 for one photo.

    Good luck anyways!

  3. YES!! I was so shocked!! We paid about $100 for like 5 each of 5 different poses. They get you though, because they turn out GREAT! The photog's are really great with the kids. (at least in my experience)

These are preschool pics-- lol-- crazy!

  4. My parents usually do the $15 deal because my pictures usually aren't too good and we don't send them out to people most of the time. To be honest, usually it's a "competition" to see whose parents would spend the most money on pictures.

  5. $10 is usually the going rate for 1 page of prints.  I do believe that someone is really making some $$$ off of the school kids at your school.

  6. i think my son's were about $12 a sheet, i just bought the whole package for $42, usually they will show you the best deal or best value, honestly you could just by one and scan them, but im not sure if its"legal"

  7. I agree.  Also, how many pictures do we need during a school year?  The school takes them twice a year, every team they play on takes them.  It's just too much!

  8. It's always more expensive when someone else does it. Especially at schools. It's much cheaper to just take it yourself.

  9. MINES WERE 15.00 FOR 2 OR 3 OF 8X10S BUT JUST GO TO SEARS OR WALMART AND TAKE NICE PICTURES DRESS THEM UP REALLY GOOD AND CALL THEM "SCHOOL PICTURES"

  10. We just paid $35 for two 5X7s, two 4X6s and some wallets.  I thought the price was high, but not dreadful.  But that was, by far, the least expensive package, and you could add on for color correction and all sorts of things that I didn't even consider.

What really bugs me is that you buy them before you *see* them.  This year's turned out okay, but they can be real doozies.

And honestly, I always like my son's candids far better than his posed pictures.

  11. That sounds expensive to me. Can't you get like a whole package at someplace like Walmart for cheaper? And maybe a whole package for a bit more money at a store like Penney's or Sears? What a rook!

  12. They are quite expensive try sears or jc penny when they have a special. The only pic u need from ur child's school is the class photo and that's really up to u.

  13. They are, but if you buy the package deals, they're usually good.

Ours is usually around $30 for two 8x10, two 5x7, several 3x4, and 10-12 wallet size. This year they included bookmarks and keytags.

The year we couldn't afford the school pics, we just got his photos done at Sears, when they had a deal for no sitting fee and a cheap package.

WalMart will have really cheap packages too, at school photo time.

  14. That's pretty expensive; I would just take the pictures on my own. You always can buy them next year.
