  1. ya i am in the same boat you are.

    i have done this for 2 years,starting my 3rd,

when playing volleyball as much as you are, we feel we have little time to spend with our friends. this may not be your problem.it was mine.

if you have homework. do that while you are icing, save all the time you have. even if you have all week for the assignment, just get it done so you dont have to worry.

when my grades were super low, i started freaking out which effected my play.

take your books and home work on your trips. I've done them long drives long plane trips. this way you are not wasting your time. if you get it done in the car. you dont have to lug it around. leave it in your car

just keep working hard. if given class time in any class pull out

    your home work.

i dont know if i helped you at all. hope i did.

    good luck

  2. Balancing your time for studying and playing sports or any extracurricular activity is very tough.  You may have to sacrifice some things to get everything done.

I know it is a very boring suggestion, but you may have to take your books on the out of town trips and for all tournaments.  You have a great deal of down time when you play most tournaments.  Study so that you can keep your grades up.  If you want to keep playing volleyball in college, you will need to have good grades to get in the college of your choice.

  3. maybe you shouldnt do club... straighten out your priorities. If you still want to do club you should do your homework on every opportunity that you have... wether its lunch, before school, after school, weekends you can stay up later to do homework, waiting for your food to be ready, in the car, or right afterschool.

I've had the same problem but i dealt with it by finishing my class work early so i dont have extra homework. When im done with my tests i start on other homework. I work until the bell rings. When im done with everything in class i start on other homework.

prioritize your work though... do the ones that are due sooner first and the ones that are do later are last.

    good luck.

  4. first of all.. get off the computer.

  5. if you really want to keep things going with your volleyball "career",  you may need to sacrifice some of the other things you do, give yourself more time to study and do your school work.  and you really need to decide what your priorities are.  maybe dont spend as much time IMing, texting, watching tv, etc. and spend more time getting your school work done, so you can continue with your volleyball and not be totally lost and behind.

  6. they have things called all nighters yeh weve all done them

its hard but so worth it when in the game!

nothing can replacethat rush u get when u play the game!

best of luck.my wishes to ya.!!

  7. I had that same problem. My advice is the more you pay attention in class, the less you will spend on homework. You also have to utilize your time well, when your in the car do your homework. If you have to read a lot of books, get them on your iPod, or put them on a CD and listen to them. Most books are on tape and free.

But you have to remember that if you have any interest in playing volleyball in college at all, your grades matter more than anything, unless you will end up at community college.

So use your time, you may even need mornings to do homework, or other classes when what you are doing isnt important and isnt for a grade.

  8. Study in your free time at school (if you have any) and on the bus on the way to games.

  9. well balance Ur schedule . like do homework rite when u get home 4 school. then u go to practice when the time comes. ik its confusing but ud get used of it. i know this from experience.
