  1. Yeah my friend was in co-op.She was in the one where she would take some career course at a vocational Tech school and they would give her credits to be applied towards her schooling. Then theres what your talking about. The one where you are able to leave school early to work. You have to talk to your counselor. Most of the time its your school guidance counselor who find the job for you,

  2. what are you annoyed with?  are the classes too slow paced for you?  enroll in honor roll or advanced placement classes.  are the classes to fast paced for you?   seek after-school help or tutoring or lower-level courses.  I'm betting you are not involved in any after school programs.  Join a sport, a debate club, a tutoring club or something where you can help others.  This would look good on your first resume.  How do you explain to a job your reason for leaving school to go work for someone?  Will you tell them school annoyed you?  Noone would hire you under those circumstances; how soon will you be annoyed by work and quit?  You, like most of the rest of society will work until we are 60-70 years old (maybe longer).  Stay in school and learn a specific field which will be around a long time and has little chance of downsizing or layoffs (health, taxes, fire, police, etc...The less downsizing and layoffs you go through, the sooner you can retire and have a nice nest-egg to live off.  Starting work early and skimping on the education will suck and catch up with you later.  I'm 38 and going back to school due to layoffs in the telecom industry.  I thought i was secure there.  This completely sucks going through a career change at this point.  Learn 2-3 unrelated fields if you have to.  that way, if laid or downsized from one career, you can easily hop into something different.  Skip the co-op.  learn, learn, learn.  Right now, don't do what YOU want to do.  Do the opposite and enjoy the rewards later.  By the way, maybe you need a new or different school.  Some teachers do suck.  Not all of them, but some.  Go to classes now and search out the things you enjoy in classes.  The more bad you find the easier it is to stay frustrated.  Do the opposite and look for the good.  By the way, if you take my advice and get rich....remember me and thank me later!!!
