School art project ideas ?

Question

in school we've been told we can do anything in art; we have the rest of the term to work on it, and it's going to be assessed at the end of the year.

i want to do something involving me, my friends and memories and stuff but some other people in my form are doing the same thing; either in a photo album or as a collage.

i don't want to do a photo album or collage though, what could i do ?

any ideas at all would be like proper appreciated ;D

Friends and memories sort of lends itself to photos and collage but could you string it together as a video of actual events and interviews, something like a documentary?  For memories that can't be interviewed or videoed you could do a stop frame animation with clay (can't call it claymation as that is probably a copy-writ process).

Make a memorbilia. For example, a beatifully customized mug, a modified and pimped gadget, etc... All you need is your IMAGINATION.

If I am to work something on memories, friends and myself I would go for wood craftings. I have my reasons for that because crafting requires good skills which will show that you are a good art student and a lot of time. Those time spent shows how much you care for and the crafting design represents your message to others. Other than crafting, maybe a calendar with different events such as a friends birthday on that certain month and some pictures. I hope that things work out well for you!

you could take a card board box and cut some of the sides of in till it looks like a presentation board then paint it when it dries pick out photos of your friends and family when its dry put them on then give your showcase a title.
