  1. It has to be safe. The driver could call someone over the radio thing and get another bus to pick them up. If it's over crowded it's not that great of a ride for anyone. It would be like hot and gross for you. And if some of the people on your bus is just a pain to deal with.. it'll just get the driver distracted and stressed out.

  2. There has to some sort of maximum capacity rule. I am no lawyer but I bet there is some other law being broken otherwise. But the basic point is there is a fault somewhere in the system and if it happened once it will happen again.

What if it was working parents? They get a call at work from their kid saying they did not make the school bus. What if it was young kids? Some sort of safety issue would be involved here.

If you were my kid I would make a big deal about this as I pay taxes so my kid can get on the school bus and go to school. I would be on  the school system from the bottom up.

They need to spend money on another bus and change the routes. Nobody in the school system would be able to argue against that when a person is standing on the sidewalk and the bus just drives on by. How are you suppossed to do well in school if getting there is hit or miss.

The school get money from the county and the state. No bus? The school system would really not want to have this kind of scrutiny from even the local politicians.

I personally would start with the principle. I would tell him he has one day to get back to me on HOW he is going to attend to this issue. Do not get back to me about how you have to reveiw it or whatnot. If you can not attend to this immeditatly I will make a very large deal about this. I trust that won't be necessary.

  3. there would be a problem picked up all students and it was even more over crowded due to safety issue.

I hope he iddn't skip stops and then picked up and etc...

  4. If it is too crowded, and it didn't stop, that is for safety reason, hence, legal.

  5. Well, that's never happened to me, but if it did I would be so mad!  I think that's legal though because there's just not enough room, so it wouldn't be safe.
