last year for school clothes i got a whole bunch of (7) areopostale shirts, 2 hollister shirts, 1 abercrombie shirt, this year my mom said im not going to those stores this year, we are just gonna go to kohls, pennys, target and a little at areo, you can still wear you clothes from last year too, why is ahe acting like this ! ! ! !

the reason why i want to shop at these stores is because there are so many rich kids that are clean cut that go to my school and i dont want to wear cheap clothes because i dont want people to think that my family cant afford things or think im cheap! ! ! just think if it were you you wouldnt want other people thinking your poor do you???

i dont see what the big deal is buy just getting a couple of shirts from their

  1. Be grateful for what you get.  You could get a job and earn some money and buy your own clothes.

  2. Kohls and Pennys aren't cheap. If it was cheap she'd be taking you to Walmart.

I agree with your mom. You CAN wear your clothes from last year, and kohls is pretty fasionable, it's not like she's making you go to an used clothes store....

  3. You can be clean cut and shop at Kohl's. That is one of my favorite stores. I can afford hollister but I wear both. Maybe she is running low on money. Just because you shop at some of those stores doesn't mean you have to look cheap.

Here is a shirt that looks like one I got from hollister

                                      Kohls:

    http://kohls.com/kohlsStore/juniors/tops...

                              Hollister:

    http://www.hollisterco.com/webapp/wcs/st...

They look a lot alike but the kohls is $20 less

  4. i now those stores look like they are the best and everything and its where "the rich kids" shop, the stores are just trying to get you to buy from them by making you feel you have to have them, when you really know that sears, pennys and such have nice clothes but for less, brand names dont always make things better, i understand wanting clothes from cool places, but clothes are just here so you dont walk arround without anything. be thankful that you can afford clothes at all, some people cant afford food, and i dont mean to sound rude but really, think about it!!!!!!!!

  5. New word. NO. Learn to live with that word and you won't have as much disappointment.

Your mom said no. And Everyone is cutting back because of the price of gas you spoiled brat.

  6. It doesnt matter what brand of clothes you got just that theyre nice n clean and look good.

  7. Yeah, you are being shallow. You just said you could wear the clothes you had last year, so whats the big deal?

Kohl's and Penny's are not cheap stores! There used to be a time where I could only shop at walmart or target. I slowly got to make my up to clarence racks at Kohl's.

Just because there are a lot of rich kids at your school doesn't mean anything. You're being kind of selfish. All you're thinking about is you and how you look compared to everyone else. Give Kohl's a try, they have cute things.

  8. wow u got shitloads last year.

u should be happy wit it and get over urself

not that i have this dilemma coz in australia we get uniforms

    doesnt bother me

maybe u should buy ur own clothes and use the money ur mother saves and get some spelling lessons

  9. My cousin is exactly like that. Just because you shop at Kohl's or Target, it doesn't mean you're cheap. No one is going to think you're poor because of it. It just means you're smart and are wise in the way you spend your money. Why would you want to wear something that a gazillion other kids have anyway? So unoriginal. Don't let your clothes decide who you are. Sheesh.

  10. I think you are forgetting that your mother has to spend the money, and those places can cost alot. You are also forgetting that no one really cares about labels, only brats like you. I go to school where there is a ton of rich kids, and a few of my friends are rich, but they dont judge me because i go to tk maxx or the charity shop, where you can find amazing stuff. Go say sorry to your mum.

  11. Who cares?

I go to a school with rich people and blah.

And I shop at those stores. And Im not poor?

My mother and father could afford to buy me those clothes, but I choose not to. Wanna know why?

    Because its overpriced,

    Because its ugly,

Because you can get so many more original unique shirts at the other places.

And the big deal is, that its expensive.

If you havent realized, everything is more EXPENSIVE.

Besides, why are you making a big deal about it??

Gosh, im sorry but you really make me mad.

Do you realize that you are complaning about clothes thats not American Eagle or some other Twin-Overpriced Store??

Do you realize all the other probems going on in the world??

    Hunger? Poverty? Global Warming? War?

And you're worrying about not getting 'Abercombie' shirts??

Sorry to be mean, or rude..but just buy clothes where you can, and deal with it..

    :/

  12. words to describe you shallow, spoiled, material

i would love to get my clothes at kohls and all that those are nice places and did you ever think your mom might not be rich and there is nothing wrong with wearing the same clothes as last year..besides those stores that you mentioned you like to shop at suck i could not care less what people think of me and i never will..if i was rich i still would never spend 20 on one shirt that is ridiculous

  13. I am a single mother of two girls that would LOVE to have clothes from the popular stores.  I try to buy them a couple of things they want from those stores, but I am like your mom..just can't pull it off this year.  Have you tried eBay?  I have had a lot of luck finding aero, holister, etc on ebay for a lot less than you would find at their stores.  I've even found myself some cute, used, but cute Tommy Hilfiger stuff.  See, I'm an old mom, can't spell this stuff!!

Trust me, us moms understand that you want those things and do want to provide them for you but we also have a responsibility to you.  One, to have enough money to keep a roof over  your head, keep food on the table and pay the other bills.  and secondly, teach you the value of the dollar.  Just recently my 13 year old (almost 14) learned that lesson.  She is on a strict schedule with chores, allowance and having to pay for movies and any extra fun thing she wants to do with her friends.  If the money is gone, then she can't go.  I do provide clothes because they are so expensive, but I have a limit.  She seems to understand.  You need to try to understand as well.

But try eBay, you might find some thigns.

Good luck.  Oh, and don't find friends who judge you by what you wear!!

  14. wow..spoiled, conceited and materialistic much?

chill, your mom is the one paying for this im guessing.

Those places can add up fast. Who cares if u dont have name brand outfits?

kohls and all those places have cute affordable clothes that you can make stylish and into your own style.

Not what everyone else is wearing.

But if you wanna wear what everyone else it then i suggest getting a job and paying for your own clothes then.

Appreciate that your even getting stuff from your mom.

If i was your mom i know i wouldnt get you anything,

  15. well i dont shop there my friend does shop at aero though and she gets cute shirts there im guessing because of the enonomney is low and i guess your mom does not want to go to these stroes but i guess go there find something cute and maybe layer with your old clothes too see how it looks

    hope this helps

    elizabeth

  16. All I can say is, wow...  I think you are being very shallow.

  17. Peoplelike you are the reason im forced to wear a uniform everyday!!!!

  18. Once you start making your own money and realizing how expensive things are, then you will realize that your mother wasn't being crazy. Not to mention, some shirts from target are just as expensive as shirts from hollister. Oh, and target has really cute clothes!!

  19. Wow,,, someone is shallow. Those stores aren't cheap, they are just not ridiculously expensive. Your mom is being perfectly reasonable. Just suck it up and stop whining.

  20. wow ur being a total *****

how about u get a job and earn the cash to buy aero and fitch urself

    u ever think of that?

its easy to spend money, but hard to make it

  21. in a year you'll grow out of those clothes and 5 years from now nobodys gunna remember you for your clothes

it doesn't matter what brand they are just wear clothes that are cute and don't always depend on others depend on your own style

  22. IT doesnt matter, as long as ur clothes r cute. And maybe ur parents r going through a hard time...jeez

ur just about as shallow as a kiddie pool

  23. um, fyi.

kolhs (sp?) is a really good store, it has a bunch of clothes that are good quality, just as good as hollister ect.

stop being such a little brat, unless you want to buy it!

money doesnt grow on tress you know!

  24. Well abercrombie and hollister are expensive so I see where she is getting this. But Target does have some really nice clothes and as long as it doesn't say TARGET written on it, no one will know that's where you got it from. For your b day ask for clothes from there or ask a aunt or older cousin to go shopping with you and go to those places.

    =]

  25. The big deal is that the price of everything has gone up. Just be glad that you are getting new clothes. The stores that your mom is going to take you to have really cute clothes, so just look around. The rich kids only go to the stores you went to last year, because everyone else goes there, and they don't have their own sense of style.

  26. Make your own clothes.

Seriously. Even if it's just a few tops, people will think you're a total bad-a**. Learn to sew (not as hard as you think) and flip through some magazines to get ideas.

If that fails, just remember: no one really cares enough to notice that you are wearing the same clothes as you did last year. They're all too busy worrying about their own wardrobes.

  27. umm ur stupid i bet not all of the people at your school wear that stuff and if the ones that dont are losers, then you're just another one of the 'popular' girls judging everyone by what they wear. and if someone tells you you're a loser for wearing stuff without HOLLISTER or ABERCROMBIE on it, tell them to stop advertising brands by wasting their money and thinking theyre cool.

  28. you should thank your mom for giving you that much

if you want to shop in those stores maybe you should get a job and buy your own clothes

stop being ungrateful and look at if from her perspective

  29. alright first off my family is wealthy but i never shop at hollister and stuff because all there clothes look the same and i am not a fan of being a clone. and i get way more complimented on my other clothes anywayss but i mean if you dont want to stand out and feel like being a lame old clone then you might want to get a job and just be thankful she even lets you get anything.

  30. i bought 2 aero shirts & i got one for a b-day gifft

and i regret wasting my money on those companies.

pennys target and etc are MUCH BETTER than those like gosh

dont care bout those rich bitchess lol

they wont knw which store u bought ur so called cheap clothes from unless they also shop there... u get what im saying? lol

u still have ur other aero hollister shirts!!

    xoxo

  31. You can look nice and clean cut without spending a whole bunch of money on clothes from those stores.

I think you need to take a look at what you have and be grateful for it. It's just fabric.

And Kohl's, Penny's and Target have nice clothes.

Take it from somebody who doesn't get to go school clothes shopping, be grateful for what you got.
