  1. in my opinion, curly hair looks great for formal dances.

you should make big bouncy curls, since your hair is shoulder length, and not really long, try loose curls so that your length doesnt get too short,

if you have bangs straighten them, or if youd like make a soft curl with that too.

pin half of it up, like a half pony tail. since you have layers the curls will look nice and full

    :]

  2. This is my favorite hairstyle:

Just take the front half of your hair and twist it and pin it back, but it give it a little height.

    Hope this helps.

  3. I think you should curl your hair, then put it in a bun or a twist and leave a few pieces hanging. Then, if you wanted you could put a clip or a headband in.

  4. hey =) ! k what i do for dances is straighten my bangs ( if you have any ) first. you'll need to use a 3 barrel curling iron and a hair straightener for the next part .... leave the bottom layer down & clip the rest up ( its easier this way ! ) so straighten 3 inch sections, then use the 3 barrel curling iron and do 2 inch sections. repeat this all throughout your hair ! email me if you want to see a picture :) it looks really good !
