School dance is coming up! :P Out-fit help?

Okay, so, my first school dance of the year is coming up. They are VERY casual dances, meaning no heels or dresses. This year I wanna be noticed, so on Monday I'm going shopping. Any hot out-fit ideas? Since they get really hot inside I am planning on wearing shorts. Pics would be great! :D

On my most casuallest days, I still wear a skirt. It's kinda hard to say "Bang" without at least wearing a skirt. It's not a sin to look better than anyone else in the room, as long as you're not dressed in black tie, or something. Bang it up a bit. I'll show you some skirts you might consider, too.

To my first school dance, I wore a baby doll top and some denim capris. You could try an outfit like I wore too, very cute, but still casual.
