School dances?

im homeschooled, but ill be starting at the public highschool this coming year. i'm a little nervous since i don't know anyone and i've never been in the public school system (xcept 4 kindergarten, like that counts). i want to go to dances and stuff, but the problem is, i can't dance. how do they usually dance at school dances? would i be okay, even tho i can't dance? (i could probably fudge it, but i don't want to look like an idiot either) Please help!!!!!!!!!!

well in my middle school dances know one really DANCE dances, like slow dance, but we all did the soulja boy! ;-)

I always felt akward....like everyone else learned dances that I had no idea about at school dances.  

But, in hindsight,  that was more sefl-consiousness more than anything...

Slow dancing is pretty hard to s***w up...if you can at least nod your head and shuffe your feet in beat with music you'll be fine.
