School freshman problem?

My minds still not made up on whether i like my new high school or not.because there are the positive fun classes and then there are the negative tough don't understand classes.My ex boyfriend is in two of my classes and i know for sure i don't like him anymore but he really intimadates me becuz hes really smart and likes to rub it in my face and those classes im too smart in and when the teacher calls on me i get nervous cuz i dont know the answer what do i do??? i hate embarrssment specially if it means once or twice a day for a whole school year

This is part of growing up. You have to face people you don't like and people you do. You also have to deal with these bad people. The subjects you may be able to pick and choose as you get older, but until then, sorry. You're facing some adult life problems.

you're going to have to muster up some courage and confidence because that stuff is just going to happen

don't let him intimidate you... high school is full of that, which is all the more reason to why you need more self confidence

just believe in yourself that you can do it

Okay...so just be cool. This happens to everyone, you are not alone. I know that the classes seem too hard...and I know you don't want to hear this...but the key is to study. Even if it is not for a test, just study for class. Review the notes you took that day...or the chapter you covered. It really pays off in the longrun.

and the boyfriend thing...just ignore him, I know it will be hard...but, he sounds like a loser.
