  1. No, because although you can probably pass the entrance exam, high school is about how many credits do you earn per semester (year) to be placed on your transcript.

That is the way that college works also.   It looks as if you may have a combination of 10/11 grade courses and be placed in an 10 grade homeroom.

You are going to have to eventually double up my friend.   Unfortunately, once you get to high school, the buck stops here.   Also, what about your Regents exams?   You have to pass those also.

At this point, keep up with each class and if you find yourself falling behind for even one quarter, go to your guidance counselor and let them know.   They will provide you with extra help and get you through to the next year.

    Good luck!

  2. Do you mean the big test that determines if you're moving on or staying? If that's yes, then I say it's good enough.

With your record of not having bad reports, you should have a second chance and ace the 11th grade. 10th grade should be taken as a lesson to you, this time stay on top of school by studying, listening and doing your homework.

    I believe in second chances.
