  1. Look at why you are failing.  Is it because you are not trying, or are you unable to do the work?  If you are honestly trying your very hardest, speak with your guidance counselor about changing your schedule, improving study skills, or different things that you can do to improve your grades..  You are only a few weeks into the year.  There is time to improve.  Speak with all of your teachers.  Ask them what you need to do to improve your grade.  They will appreciate this.  Listen to what they say, and do it.  Attend extra help afterschool.  Have study sessions with friends.  Do ALL of your homework on time. Read the assigned readings.  I know this is all boring, but you can get through it.  If your teacher explains things in a way that doesn't jive with you, then ask somebody else to clarifiy.  Ask questions...lots of them.  Do not be bashful.  Ask your parents to set up rewards if you do well.  Maybe you can have a sleepover or stay out an hour later?  HTH

  2. Your parents are going to have to face and live with your failing.

They have to share in this responsiblity.

  3. Are there other schools in the district you can goto?  Some districts have programs for kids how aren't getting thru regular classes, but don't want to drop out.

Also look into vocational education, learn to weld, fix cars, cook, lab tech, etc.  Many districts have vocational progams where you can spend the rest of your time in school learning a trade.

    Good Luck

  4. Make sure you complete all your homework, and try to attempt the ones you don't understand.Homework and classwork grades can really add up. They also prep you for upcoming test and quizzes. If theres something you don't understand you could ask a classmate or the teacher. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and don't resort to cheating. Also, I know its hard, but study. I'm usually first in line when it comes to procrastinating, but you have to stay focused on what needs to be done. I know this is weird/nerdy, but recently I haven't been working out as much as I wanted. So I decided to stick sticky notes on my computer, door, and even my poor remote, to tell my lazy butt to go get things done. So far its worked for me.

    Best wishes,

    Mike

  5. just tough it out, i am in 8 th grade, and its hard, but if you try hrad, your teecers will like you

  6. First, work on your attitude.  School is not an entertainment.  It is supposed to challenge you.  Sign up to take the GED test.  If you pass, you are done with high school.  Start college at a community college or go to a trade school and learn a trade.

OR!  Get a job and start earning some money.  Whatever you do, get the support of your parents.  Remember, until you turn 18, you pretty much have to do what they want you to do.
