School is a waste of time?

This is my last year of high school and i've come to the conclusion that school is a waste of time. Don't get me wrong. I love to learn. It's just that school is basically all about memorizing stuff, then doing tests, then forgetting about it. Honestly, I really don't ever remember anything that I've learned in my schooling days. So don't you think school is all about memoriazing things? I mean honestly, a lot of kids in my school say that's all it's about now, memorizing.

  1. I agree with you. School is a waste of time. What if you want to become a.... oh I don't know, an actor? How is science or socials going to help you??? I think schools should focus more on what the students want their jobs to be, not just give them a range of subjects that does not benefit them.

I read online about how math does not benefit us in the future. How is geometry going to benefit us??  (There is a thing called a calculator!)

But yet when I think of it, if we don't go to school, are we suppose to get a job at such young age?

  2. I very much agree with you 100 percent.

I am also in my last year of school barely live through it and still need to go there.

School is a waste of your life time.

I hate memorizing things in school that are not even important in life later.

Cant we just go on getting a course on our career of our choice?

And the teachers just confuse your or talk all class instead of teaching.

Or the students who dont come to class and then come late and interupt.

No wonder school years are long.

Cant they just say that we learned enough and go on with our life.

School is definitely a waste of time.

Thanks for bringing up this topic.

  3. I agree with you

Better to take classes that will prepare you for YOUR career

and anotehr thing I don't get- if shcool is mandatory then why do some students have to pay for their lunch or why should their be fees???

I talked to teachers about this and most of them agreed but they said it's more like a logic thing to expand your mind and make you think more critically.
