School is coming up,and i feel nervous,what i should i do??

im going to tenth grade,and im scared about school,any advice on how to make me feel better?

  1. Take a deep breath, Everyone else is as scared as you, so if you like pull it off with confidence, then you've all ready won it over.

  4. Have peace in knowing that everyone is feeling the same jitters. Even your teachers! I'm a teacher and every year I'm still nervous for the first day.

    Take a few deep breaths and smile a lot. Everyone else (who are also very nervous) will be glad that you're smiling.

  5. Just go to school, the first few weeks are always nerve-racking.  Eventually you'll feel more comfortable and you'll meet new people and make new friends.  It's all natural.  Don't sweat it.

    a. take a shower

    b. take a semi warm bath to relax

    c. take a stress pill

    d. go back to school with a reliable friend

    e. do some physical exercise  before u go to class/school.


  7. Well, put it this way, everyone is also going through it with you.. they may not all want to show it, but they are.

    Also, you've been through a year of highschool already. I mean, your FIRST year! And usually that one's the toughest.

    If you've been through that, which is a huge change, like going to an all new school which is way bigger than elementary, how bad can this year be? You're gonna make it through just fine.

    The only thing that will probably be different, is all the new kids, having different classes and teachers, if you had to switch schools for that grade, if you had friends leave your school, the making new friends part, and mainly, if the work gets harder, which it willll.

    But I mean, comeon, for how many years have you been in school & battling most of this stuff? FROM KINDERGARTEN.. Which I think would be about 12 years now for you?

    BUT, to get over those nerves faster, here's a few tips I have for you:

    1) Talk to your friends and family, they're usually great to go to for comfort and support.

    2) On the first day, or couple days, meet up with a friend somewhere, and go to school with them(busing, walking, whatever), and try to stick together as much as you can.

    3) Be as friendly and nice as you can be, try to make it a new, fresh, better, year. And try to make new friends.

    4) Be on time for your classes, and try to be as organized as you can. And think positive!!

    5) On the day you go to pick your lockers, and get your gym clothes, etc., be there early, so you can get the best results.

    And i'm sure there's lots more tips too!

  8. Its ok! Everyone gets nervous. I am in college! My first year! I was scared!! Since its a new grade and schedule, they with give you time to get to class. Some things to make you feel better could be-

    - Think about the positive things

    - Think about the negative things and think of ways to fix them

    - Think about your friends and their classes

    - Think about how old you are and how fast you are growing!

  11. Once you get past the first day it's all downhill. To boost your confidence, go buy a really cool outfit and that will instantly make you feel a lot better. It's all about the style.

  13. im going to 10th grade too. and u dont need to be stressing out. although sophmore year isnt the most exciting year to come just make the best out of it. be urself and dont let anything come in ur way. best of luck.

    i suffer of nerves as well! i even get dizzy sometimes!

    it's terrible.. but.

    Don't worry, i started school last week and nothing happened hah
