School is coming up in like 3 weeks for me. I'm going to a new school. (A jr. high -every 6th grader in the district is, lol!) I dont want to have to deal with little immiture miget girls that have no life except when there caring about makeup and boys. Dont get me wrong -I looove makeup and boys...but not people who ONLY care about those things. I had the most horrible time in elementary school so I'm a little scared. I just want friends who are super fun, and go wild sometimes, lol, and have a LIIIFE. Do you think I'll find any?? They're gonna be like 1500 people....but Idk. And the homework..and the long days....I feel nervous but how do I get excited???????

  1. I am going into the 8th grade, so hears what you need to now. First thing, in middle school, their are a ton of people just like what you described, just  don't hang with the poor, gothic emo, or lesbean kids. The homework isn't too bad. At my school, we get 4 minuntes to change classes, it may not sound like a lot, put it is enough time. And everyone gets nervous. Depending on your schools rules, you can decorate your locker, that is fun. The clothing  brands kids wear are hollister, aeropostale, abercombie, abercombie & fitch, american eagle. Hope This helps.

  2. ah ...the girls just ignore them and the firts week u go over the school rules and stuff ....u will be excited on the first day ..and start making friends at lunch wear u can say "can i sit with u?'

  3. You'll meet those girls, but sometimes they are really.... well, not pleasant. I stayed friends with my friends from elementary school, so I can't really say how I met them. I got introduced to them through mutual friends pretty much. Don't freak. You'll find your place in school! Do as many extra curricular activities as possible to meet new people. Have fun, and relax! It'll be fine!!

  4. i wasn't interested in boys for while, until my 8th grade year. i was scared to go into middle school too but on the first day i realized it's the same people in my grade i've been going to school with since 1st grade. sure there may be a couple new kids and all the upperclassmen but it's the same people and they aren't going to change that drastic over a 2 or 3 month summer vacation. so just take a breath and try to get involved, school plays, sports teams, enjoy middle school they were my best years.

  5. You'll find friends. Jr. High is a good transition phase between Elementary and High School. It's going to be harder than elemantary school but you'll get the swing of things pretty fast. In 6th grade no one really has much of a life. It's mostly just spending time with friends, which is all fine and good. Other than that just have fun. You'll be at the bottom of the Totem Pole, so the older kids might pick on you some, but it's all in good fun, and when you're older you'll do the same to the 6th graders. It's just life.

Jr. High is alot more fun and memorable then elemantary.

I met two of my closest friends in 6th grade. One I met in beginners band. There were only three people in that class and my band director got us talking. The other I met when we went in to real band and they were friends so we all became friends. =]

  6. It's something new and fresh. It's your last three years until you end up in high school. That's something to enjoy. Plus, for me, when I entered junior high, I grew up A LOT and learned SO MUCH. And I'm sure you will too. Don't worry about the girls like that, I just ignored them. Everybody figures out how annoying they are, at some point, during the school year. I met a lot of great friends that I am STILL great friends with (5 years later).

  7. just talk to people even if you don't know any of htem

  8. trust me middle school is not as hard as it looks when i first went i thought it was going to be scary but its not because your going in with a whole bunch of other kids that are just like you and for me alot of my friends from elementary came in with me so thats who i sat with but if there is no friends coming with you just go sit at a table and talk about what there talking about it works really well and just do that for like a week and you will become part of there table and there friend most likley and to be excited think about all the freedom you will get plus they have soda machines lol most important thing is to not try to be something your not because then you wont get any real friends work hard on your school work 2

  9. You're going to a new school which means you're terrible elementary is in the past. You need to life completely and honestly in the present to be happy. Don't stress about the past or the future. You'll definitely make friends. You sound like a great person. You're only in sixth grade (I assume) so homework will not be bad. The best friends that you could attract would be the ones that come to you. But then again the friends that confronted me the first day of 6th grade, well I no longer talk to them. When you get used to 6th grade, you'll wonder what you were worried about. For your convo starters, just say hi. If a new girl came up to me and said hi, I'd gladly invite her to sit with me at lunch after a few minutes of chatting. Pick out a friendly face in your first class and just say hi. It's really the best you can do. I met my best friend through tennis. Then I made friends through her and viola! I instantly had like, four new friends. You just have to be yourself. Good luck!

  10. Oh yeah you will find them. You will also find lots of drama. Just get excited over all the s**y boys you will meet ;D

That's what  do every year [except this one of course :]]

  11. Ohh yes... I'm going into 8th grade, trust me, I have a large group of wild friends following me around all the time. Lol

The sad thing is, I can't even remember how I got most of them. Like for my best friend, all I remember is one of the first days of 6th grade when we were put in the same group to do something. All I remember is, "Hi, my name is Dominique!" "Hi, my name is Zuleyha!" and then, BOOM, best friendship!
