I've been going through a lot of things since I've been in school, I am at the border of finishing school already and I really don't want to go back this fall. I'm in High School now and soon starting my 12th grade year. Can someone plz help me and tell me if there's an alternative to have to physically having to go to a school. I know theres home schooling, but I believe that's quite pricey. Can I get some help plz I'm desperate especially because fall will soon be here. thank you

  1. Home schooling isn't pricey at all. For an entire year's-worth of books and class material, it will cost roughly $600. It's well worth it not only because it gives you a far better education, but also because it keeps you away from distractions at school, and it helps you to focus on school rather than kids trying to bother you. I would visit Abeka.com and order their 12th grade curriculum, or call and they'll help you.

  2. Try online Virtual Schools (k12.com)

They will provide you with all the books and materials you need. You'll still have teachers who you could contact daily. And you'll get to sleep in or go to school in your PJ's. It's all free. Good Luck! =)

  3. Check first to see if your current school or school district has a 'virtual' option because that should be free. Failing that online homeschools aren't all that expensive.

  4. Dont be a quitter in the last year.

Im sorry but you have to either get homeschooled, drop out, or go to regular school

  5. go to a charter schoool its free :]!

just go on google type in :(your city)charter school

    :] hope thats helllp.

  6. You could try cyber-schooling. No physical attendance required, and a lifesaver if you keep odd hours.

And I'm not sure if this is true for all of them, but charter cyber-schools like the one I attended are free (and provide free books, computers, and even internet connection if needed).

But if you want to start looking for one, do so *quickly* - admission close dates vary. I hope this year is a good one for you!

  7. Try http://www.k12.com/homeschool

    It's free!

    Best of Luck

  8. okay don't quit your senior year is the easiest, you probably only need to take a few classes to graduate so, in the classes you don't need you don't even have to do anything in. plus it's the last year you have to been in school and have fun with friends. Also if you have a community college, in most states have a way for you to be in high school and the they will pay for you to take college classes. I know you hate school but if you take college classes on something you are really good at it will be fun and probably easy too. I'm a computer geek and I took computer programming classes and I got easy A's. Plus college has really laid back attendance rules so you normally get out of high school for part of the day and you can even skip college most of the time.
