okay I am 14.

and my town has their own website with a forum and people post stuff about things going on in the town and what not.

and well their are some issues at my school that I want to bring to the adults atention on their forum. but I want to pretend im a parent of a kid in the school so they will be more understanding.

is that againist the law for me to do?

this issue rele needs to be addressed and I figured what better way to do it then post it on the forum that almost everyone in town reads.

  1. You would not need to lie if you just wrote and spelled like an adult.  People wouldn't even question your age.  However, if you use words like "their" when you mean "there" and spell it "rele" instead of "really" then they will know you're not an adult even if you try to say that you are.

  2. There is nothing illegal about misrepresenting yourself online, unless that misrepresentation is used to conceal a crime, or some other prohibited activity.

  3. my answer is: who cares if it's legal if no one finds out? It's like teens/children under 21--they may drink alcohol at home (with parental permission), but don't get into trouble with the law. It will be okay if you do what you said in your question, in my opinion.
