My school starts soon, and I wanted to start thinking what to pack for lunch everyday
I am starting high school this year, and I've decided that I want to work on being healthy this year
I eat a lot of junk food, and although I maintain a pretty healthy weight (95 lbs., and I'm thirteen years old- I have a pretty good metabolism) I've finally decided to treat my body right and eat what's good for me
I take a lot of time doing sports, approximately 20 hours a week, if you include my participation in cross-country at our school, and then I'm also on a diving team outside of school that practices 5 times a week. In addition, I also have gym every other week.
So, I usually eat a whole lot of food to make up for all of this exercise.
For lunch, I have decided to have a main "course" (such as a sandwich or salad), a fruit, a vegetable, a drink, small side (pretzels, granola, etc.), and then I have to pack a snack for after cross-counry practice (gatorade with granola bar, water with apple slices, etc.)
Please help me decide what to pack so that I can be healthier. Thank you!
