School magazine --- what do put in it ???/help?

we'll my school has a magazine and im on the editorial team .... and i need some random things to put in it somthhing interesting and somthing us kids will read any ideas????

You should get one person per magazine to be asked some questions about school. For example:

1. Who's your best friend at school

2. What would your ideal lesson be at school

3. What's the funniest thing that happend to you at school

This could be funny and interesting and more than likely get more people to be interested in your magazine!!

How about the following;  Reviews on things like Movies, PS, XBox games, DS games, books etc., Ideas for birthday parties, outings, places to see, places to visit, jokes, riddles, quizes, cool (safe!) websites, run a competition for the best joke, tip etc and publish the winner with a certificate you make yourself as a prize, Have a 'What The!' space for weird and interesting happenings in the neighbourhood.  Have an annonymous column that kids can write in their concerns or ideas (not to answer but just to vent concerns or ideas).  You could call it 'Kidspeak' or 'Pupilview', or 'Mysay' etc.  Inteview lots of students, they will give you lots of ideas, go to the reader!

Think about -  Student recommended Movies, Video Games and Student recommended reading w/favorite books. Highlight Area Places to visit, Happening Events (upcoming). Include Shotsukas, Bookmarks (to cut out and use). Music CD Reviews. Find a contest for students to enter and list winner in next months issue and offer a prize (food maybe).

Feature a "Car of the Month", find a student with a cool car and ask questions to create an article. Have a Q & A section. Student could submit questions in a homeroom box to be collected and answered in the magazine each month. Maybe questions like, What's with that taco bowl for lunch? Has anyone seen the the mascot on the roof? What's is doing there? When will be have our full fat cookies back on the lunch menu? Etc. Find photos of extremely close up items and have students guess what they are, have six on a page and answers on the back of the magazine. Make them really hard. Feature a senior student each month, randomly, not based on athletics or academics. Good Luck, great idea, I'm sure the students and teachers will appreciate your hard work.
