Question:

School market day?

In a couple weeks my sister is having a market day at school. She needs some ideas for things she can "sell" for fake money. It can't be unhealthy food. You can do healthy food, carnival games, crafts, stuff like that.

Any ideas?

Oh by the way shes in 3rd grade so it needs to be appropriate for 8 or 9 year olds. Thanks.

  3. My daughter had a similar project this year for 4th grade and the theme was Medieval Times. So what we did is, we went to Michaels and bought some bagged potpourri and then went to the fabric store and bought some silky fabric and ribbon. Then we cut the fabric into medium sized squares and placed some potpourri in the center. Gather all the sides up and tie the ribbon in a double knot. It was a HUGE hit! I would suggest potpourri that is either fruity scented or something like vanilla. The floral scents were way to strong! It is very cheap to make and again, all the kids, especially the girls were really wanting it because they wanted to put one inside their clothes drawer to make it smell good!
