School of the performing arts?

i want to go to a school of performing arts, but don't really know where to start. Can anyone give me tips, advice, or helpful websites? thanks so much.

depends where you want to be. I go to school in NYC and I love it to pieces. Its pretty much the place to go for performing arts. There's all the big ones (NYU, Marymount Manhattan etc...)  but there are also some incredible conservatory programs too (AMDA, ADDA, Circle In The Square etc...).

Why haven't you GOOGLED for "school of performing arts"?  If you would just GOOGLE for it, you would turn up EIGHTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND hits... (18,300,000)... wouldn't THAT be more informative than a single line reply on answers.
