  3. When I was homeschooled my school schedule was all over the place.  Literally!  I did lots of school in the car driving to and from the various activities my brother and I were involved in.   In my free time I called my bast friend, hung out with friends, or read.

Now that I am in college I have a set schedule and I study bewtween classes.  In my free time I call/hang out with my fiance, hang out with friends, read, and spend way too much time on Q&A.

  4. when you homeschool, you can school anytime of the day. As long as its 5 hours or more. (Thats atleast by the state laws here in Kansas )

  5. School schedule? We don't have one.

Free time? What's that? Lol. Living on a cattle station, there're always heaps of jobs that need doing.

  6. I do school by corrspondance for medical reasons so mine is pretty relaxed. I take 3 subjects per semester and at the moment I have one class each day from Monday - Wednesday. They go for 45 minutes each plus homework (I usually leave to the last minute lately). This schedule will change next semester because I will be taking different classes.

For free time I usally read, watch movies, go on the internet, research things for stories, write stories, sleep, eat, play with my dogs, and look into my future univesity (college) requirements to make sure I can get in to the one I want and also into programs I can do for the year I am taking off after year 12.

    Hope this helps!

  8. My son's schedule varies day by day, so his free time varies as well.  In his free time, he likes to work on Scout badges, play computer games, hang out with his friends, play outside, play baseball, and go swimming.  (He's 10 and homeschooled.)

As long as his work gets done neatly, completely, and with a good attitude each day I don't much care when he does it.  Some days he starts at 6:30 am, other days he starts at 11 am.  It all depends on how late he was up the night before and what he has planned for that day.

  9. *We wake up at 8:00am.

    *snack break at 10:30am

    *English, Spelling, Math

    *lunch break at 1:00pm

    *science and heritage Studies (history)

Free time: basketball, bike riding, computer games, other sports, time with friends

  11. Our children arenÊ»t on a set schedule.  After breakfast in the morning, my wife and children decide what subject or activity will take place for that day.  We found putting a set schedule is kind of restrictive to their learning.  Each child is different so the rate at which they work is different.  After the lesson for the day is set, they work on that until they have completed it and the rest of the day is free time.

During their free time, they read, play outside, play video games, watch some TV, get on the computer, call friends etc.

  12. My school has block scheduling, which is where you have only 4 periods, but each is an hour and a half.  Not much free time because the passing period is only 5 minutes and the school is huge.... but if i have time i get some work done or talk to friends.
