  1. I gave up danceing when I was in 5th grade and still regret it realy think about what you do before you do it

maybe stay homeschooled untill high school and then tkae some classes in high school but some at home so you get the group school experence but still can move at youre own speed and still do some gymnastics at home

like take math and english at home but try cymisty and socal studys at school

  2. If you want go to real school if it's hard go back to home school. simple right? Or just follow what your heart says.

  3. If you want to be finished with gymnastics, so be it, although I would recommend a break or just less for a while.  Maybe you are just burnt out?  As far as public school goes, why do you want to "try school?"  Would the academics be better?  More extra-curricular activities?  I really hope that you are not just thinking about going just for the "social" life.  Schooling shouldn't be about a badge of honor for having survived, and (personally) I find most of the people who had the greatest time EVER in high school never, ever leave it.  They spend the rest of their lives reliving their glory days, the parties, the girl/boy friends, the popularity, being the high school sports hero...etc.

  4. Go to schooL:)

Maybe do gymnastics less. but still do it.

  5. if you're homeschooled for religous reasons, think about this A LOT more!  because public school WILL shock you.

But even if you're homeschooled for other reasons; I personally hated middle school.  I wanted to kill myself for the two classes a day I had to be there!  But I loved being at home doing my homeschool.  In my oipnion, you should try to go to public school in 8th grade for just a couple of classes and then do the rest at home.  that will give you an idea of what you like better.  that's what I did, and I chose to stay homeschooled.  I didn't like the drama, derespect, and sexual harressment forced my way.

  6. if u like homeschooling do it. I was homeschooled until 9th grade and the i started public the 1st yr of high school and it went great

  7. Starting in 8th might be a good idea. It would give you an idea of real school before starting high school, which is a big deal.

  8. It's your choice.I'll recommend staying and not quitting but I'm not you so i can't control you.Do whatever you want!

  9. Sounds like you'd have to give up some gymnastics to go to public school.  But, if you really want to go, you should try it.

Personally, I wouldn't go to public school if I had a choice, but then I spent a lot of years there so I don't really know your perspective.  I felt like I missed out on so much by being in public school.  There are just so many more opportunities with homeschooling, like gymnastics 5 hrs a day.

Highschool isn't much different than 8th grade. Colleges only look at 9th grade +, but as far as anything else, it's pretty much the same.

Good luck with whatever you decide :D

  10. I have homeschooled and public schooled my 5 kids.

STAY in homeschool if you can, esp if you are considering 8th grade.  As a parent, I know that the 7th and 8th graders are catty, cliquish and unwilling to accept a newcomer unless you are an aggressive person, who is good at being part of a crowd.  And if  you have a faith that has been taught you (Christian or otherwise) the public school kids will horrify you in their behavior and their lack of respect for authority and morality.  It is a cruel world out there.  If you wait for college to go to the 'standard' educational system, you will be mature enough to see the kids as what they are.

    Be blessed.
