School supplies...?

Where is the best place to buy school supplies for cheap?

I have to buy my daughter school supplies for kindergarten and I'm not sure if I should go to Wal-Mart, Big Lots, or Dollar General... lol

We are really low on money so that's why I'm being picky...

Right now, Walmart is CHEAP for school supplies. I got spiral note books for 5 cents each. Wal greens has some buy one get two free deals.

If you really are unable to afford supplies, check with some local churches. Our church has a back pack ministry where we provide supplies to families in need.

I've been watching the ads every weekend and going to different places picking things up as they're on sale. It's not too late for you to start doing that too. For example, I got 20 pencils for 20 cents, 2 pink erasers for 20 cents and markers for $1 at walgreens. I got a 3 pack of glue sticks for $1.68 and 24 ct. crayons for 20 cents at Target. I got his backpack & lunchbox at Toy R Us because if you bought a backpack for $12.99 or more you got a free lunchbox. Just keep checking the adds and you'll get some really great buys. Overall, I think Walgreens has had stuff on sale the cheapest.

At Wal-Mart they have $0.05 for Notebooks.

At Office Max they have $0.01 for crayons.

Every week they have special deals that really help me out.
