  1. First things first. Obviously a bag... Haha

    1. Pens, pencils, eraser and liquid paper(a.k.a white-out or correction tape)

    2. Notebooks (binders are easier to carry aroung instead of a billion notebooks for every subject)

    3. Mathematical Notebook (for algebra... you know.. the one that looks like graphing paper because of the tiny little boxes)(not all teachers require you to use a math notebook)

    4. Paper (comes in handy too)

    5. Planner (not really needed but it can help you remember due dates for projects, you can write down homeworks and quizzes on it so you'll never forget to do it again and special occassions...)

    6. Textbooks (i'm pretty sure you're teachers or school gave you a list of the textbooks you'll need.. unless they provide the books for you...)

    7. Scientific Calculator (you would usually need one for chemistry but it really depends on your teacher)

  2. Your teachers will tell you what to bring. On the first day, bring paper and pencils (you always need those)

  3. I would recommend buying at least one notebook for each class (even dance and multimedia, all of the art classes). Buy a binder for all your important classes (chemistry, algebra, english and history) and buy another binder for the extra classes (multimedia, spanish, dance, law, etc.) Label the classes on a sticker for each binder and make sure you have a calculator for your algebra, enough folders for all your hand-outs for every class (labeling the classes on the folders and buying one for each, will be very helpful!) and possibly a spanish- english dictionary for your spanish class. enough pens and pencils (colored pencils don't hurt either, for all the projects, etc.). highlighters are a must for all of your notes. for sure buy an agenda or monthly planner so you can write down friend's phone numbers, important dates, have your own calendar and write down your homework and important projects. Also buy sticky notes that you can stick on anywhere if you forget your agenda @ home, or if you need to write down something quickly.

  4. Just have binders + lined paper + graphing paper + scientific calculator + pencils + pens in blue/black/red + highlighters (optional) ready.

The teachers will tell you everything else you need when classes start

  5. - TI 84 graphing calculator (if your school doesn't allow you to check them out)

    -sweats (for gym)

the rest is basics like spirals, notecards, pens, etc.

  6. Well, since this is your second year of high school... you should already know your own preferences and routines for note taking and classwork. All you are going to need is take notes on the first day, and if they don't tell you what you need until the third day, then just get yourself by until then.

I would get notebooks for each class or maybe two 5 subjects so you have enough for all of your classes.  I like the Five Star ones with the pockets in them for class handouts. After you know what you need, if they say to have a spiral notebook, Mead has cool notebooks for each subject. This would be great for algebra, english and chemistry because they have neat little cheat sheets and references in them.

    OR

Get a binder and dividers if you don't like notebooks.

You probably won't need anything for gym the first day...they will probably make you buy the school gym clothes. Maybe bring some cash if you want to.

  7. i always got a supply list, but anyway have pens, pencils, erasers, college ruled paper (get at least 3 or 4 packs), 1 1/2 or 2" three ring binders (one for each class) index cards, dividers, highlighters, colored pencils, possibly a graphing calculator but they may supply that.
