School teachers???

my teacher has these files of all the students in the class and it has comments of what your previous teachers thought about you. she said to us we're not alowed to look at them at all, or other wise they have to be burnt. i am wondering whats in them....i am desperate to know! why is it so secritive?

I think your teacher was joking with you. The only think that might be in the files are educational comments. For example, if a student struggled in their last class, the file might include interventions that were done to help the student. Otherwise, it probably just has personal information such as address and phone number, etc. which is confidential.

So dont u worry!! Calm urself and be positive that they dont have anything against u....

We do the same thing, although I have never boasted to a student that I had them.  They basically have your last samples of work in each subject area, test scores, and any information that will help the next years teacher help YOU be successful.  Don't worry, it's nothing bad.  I hope that teacher was joking with you, because I would never burn something if a student saw it.

you will never find out as they are personal to the school board. and parents if a request is posted.
