  1. yes all u have 2 do 2 keep u focused iz close ur eyes for 2 seconds and think of math the wen u open them do an very easy provlom and ur focusede it helps trust me if udont believe me try it now

  2. id suggest to give certain time slots for different things.

    like get home, take fifteen minutes to eat a snack, or half hour for dinner wtvr

    and then lets say a full 60 minutes straight fro homework, wihtout answering ur fone AT ALL!

    and hten after hte 60 m inutes u look at ur missed calls and call pplc abck, u chillax, and if u have more homeowrk u do it later in the day. at least hat way youll have a good hour to focus wihtout distractions.

    and i suggest not to turn on the musoic, it rlly does make u less productive im serioes. especially for math dont ahve it on.

    it sjust when you do someting, sont asnwer your phone, and put all your atteniton IN THAT.

  3. As for Math find a math tutor or a math tutor lab that may be offered through your school.

    I would  find a CoDa twelve step program meeting and attend it.  It will teach you to create boundaries.

    I cited a source for you.

    I used to have the same problem you are saying you have now.  Have to help yourself now.

  5. Well, at the school I'm going to this year it is required that you take the class "Strategies For Success."  It is based on the book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens' by Sean Covey.  I suggest reading it to get some ideas.

    Other than that I would try to spend more time studying for math and getting help from your teacher.  Perhaps you could tell everybody that while you're at school, you're looking to focus on the work, and that if they have problems they need help with they could send you an E-mail or give you a call after school.  Even meet with you, if it's needed.

  6. you could:

    1) Tell people you need to focus, and you know that they need help, and when you have some free time you will dedicate some time to them.

    2) Multitask and take the problems, and the schoolwork and balance it out.

    3) Tell people you need a break and they should consult with their other friends or parents about their problems, just until you get your patience back together.

    ~~~Good Luck on Deciding :D~~~
  7. u may have add or adhd go to a doc if u cant concentrate
  8. I know what your going through.. kinda.  I'm goin into 8th grade, and my parents kept telling me how hard it well be.  I was prepared though, because I aced everything in 7th grade.  A good thing to do is try studying whenever you have extra time.  Get yourself ready, and if you ever have a friend that keeps distracting you, try to listen, while staying focused at the same time.  This is what helped me.  Even though it doesn't help everyone, you could try it :).
    P.S.  Don't forget to get everything you need before school >.<....
  9. Set reasonable goals for yourself. Like instead of saying you'll finish a book all in one day, say you'll do 3 chapters a day or something. Make sure you keep everything organized. If the people asking you for help are flustering (couldn't think of a better word) you, make sure you think of yourself first. Tell them you can't help them if you need to, or tell them you'll help them later. If you really need help with math, get a friend to help you with it, or get a tutor if you need to. Just make sure school comes first and everything will come easier.
  10. school is always a challenge, AND MAN DO I HOPE I PASSED MATH PRINCIPLES!...im so worried about that, anyway
    I think you should politely say " I'll help you after im done my assignment" or stuff like that, you gotta stay focused at some point.
  11. Just remember to put yourself first.  find a polite way to get the hint across that you cannot help them because you need to work on you.  You need to find a balance between being a good person and being a sucker.
  12. Its july and you are worried about school!!!
  13. Hm... well, I don't know if you believe in God and all that. But I just ask him to help me stay focused on my school work...
    If everyone loves how honest you are, then just be honest. Tell them you want to help them, but you're really busy and you can't be there all the time when they have a problem, even if you want to be.
    As for math, yeah, I suck at math too. You really don't even know how much I suck at it. I just study and try to get better. Go to free-ed.net and read the pre algebra lessons. They're really awesome. :) Good luck.
  14. try
    well this is wat i do
    i jsut stare at the teacher or the person
    and they will either listen to your answer or just leave u alone
