School uniform question

Question

Girls: how many of each do you have of school uniform choices: skirts, jumpers, polos short sleeved and long sleeved?

Boys: how many pants do you have and how many polos, long and short sleeved? Are the pants just chinos or do you also have cords?

I was just wondering how many uniform choices most kids have.

we wear regular cloths!!

we don't have any special uniforms!!

no school uniforms, and if i did, i would either switch schools, or talk to the principal if the outfits are revealing.

_____I used to wear Uniforms and it really was horrible, but it prevents alot of chaos over who has money and what people had...It was great, but I was a christian then so it didn't matter what I wore!!

________i wouldn't overload over the uniforms

_________Buy some cute items and dress modestly is what I would aim for...

_______Don't be so caught up in how many clothing items to get!!

My son wears a uniform, when he was younger I went overboard-5 pairs of pants and shorts-5 shirts, etc.  

For me, I feel its better just to buy 3 pairs of shorts and pants and 3 to 4 shirts and wash midweek.

I thought I was wasting money on buying more and spent the extra cash on uniform clothing.

we don't have school uniforms...thank god!  :)

When I was in grade school up to 12 th grade we all wore the same uniforms.. the boys long khaki pants with white shirts and ties.. the girls long loose khaki skirts with loose white shirts.  No one was allowed to choose to wear anything else because that seemed to encourage status amoung children and made them unsatisfied with their lives ...and often caused them to not pay attention in class but too much attention to clothing.   It worked.  Our school was highest in apptitude testing in our area.

Our children attend Islamic Schools so their uniform is Islamic dress.

When I was a child, there were no Islamic Schools so I attended the local State School.

I was allowed to wear a dress in uniform colours with trousers and I would cover my hair to and fro from School.

To answer your actual question, My little brother who attends the special needs school has

4 pairs of trousers

2 School jumpers (The ones which have the school name on!)

4 polo shirts (because they are white and he gets them very dirty!)

Hope that helps! I like to keep lots extra as it's very hectic to do laundry's during the week.

I like to get all the laundrys done over the weekend!
