I got a puppy in June. He was 8-9 weeks. Now he's like 4 1/2 almost 5 months.

Will he be ok? I need to get up with him every morning at 5. Take him out side to potty... Play with him..Then feed him around 530 or 6 ish. (he's kennel trained so he eats in there) Then at 6 i need to get ready for school. (get dressed, breakfast, brush teeth, hair, makeup,) then... get him at 6:15 - 6:30 (he takes a while eating... he's little) Take him outside.... Have him run around. bring him in and play (so he's tired out) then kennel him until 3:30pm

Just have him go potty b4 and stuff. Wont he be fine?

I haven't left him for that long :(

He's my baby!!

Maybe block off the kitchen?!? and have him in there?

Idk. My parents work....and no one will be home. We have a 4 yr old rat terrier who's trained awesomely lol

just...the puppy is not and idk what to do!

 1. You should gate off a tiled area (accidents will happen and tile is easy to clean!) Also you might want to put down newspaper of pee-pee pads in that area.

 2. I definitely understand your concern about your pup. But it's great he is getting crate trained. We also felt bad so we didn't crate train our dogs and it seriously took them about a year to be fully house trained! Oh well. But it really is ok that he's in the kennel for the day. You will feel better knowing he's safe and not getting into anything he shouldn't be. And just think, it's only temporary. Once you have him fully trained, then you can let him out for the day. Or at least block him off in the kitchen so then if there is an accident, it will be easy to clean up. Good luck and enjoy your new baby!

 3. That's a long time for a young dog to be crated, a baby gate across the kitchen or a bathroom would be good. Any room with a washable floor. Put paper down for any accidents and wash the floor good with a odor killing cleaner.Get a good chew bone for him to have while you're in school.
