Schools insurance question? they obviouslyhave to be well insured public liability i should think?

but is it true that the school is uninsured during the school holidays?

  1. Hi ,

    A lot of schools and government agency's self insure, i.e. they have a bond to pay for any losses.


  2. There may well be reduced cover, but there will be no such thing as no cover during that time period, just because it is the the school holidays.

  3. All public buildings carry insurance as a matter of course but if you are thinking of having a claim up be careful as they are not so stupid nowadays.

  4. Why - thinking of burning it down...?

  5. Only the school can answer this one, but normally this type of insurance runs all the time (just in case)
