  1. Launch a police report, or report to the media.

This is a free country, and no one should demoralize, forceful to induce any cruel, unhealthy product into someone. Time will come (similar to Child Abuse Act, Domestic Animal Rights, Woman's Right, Anti-Slavery, etc) such forcing unhealthy and cruel meat to an innocent kids may become legally wrong in the future (Child Abuse).

  2. First, you should start paying more attention to your TEACHERS, so that you learn how to spell and use correct grammar.....  Then, have your parents talk to the principal of the school, or get a note from your doctor saying that you require vegetarian meals.......

  3. i am a vegitarin too, but i didnt tell people at school i brought my lunch most of the time and its mean to make fun of vegitarins, i think schools should be more open about food choices.

  4. Your parents should address it since it is a private school that they are paying for.

That they notified the school of your dietary needs.  That those within the school act in such an irresponsible way after finding out your personal dietary needs - is not only immature, it is something that needs to be addressed with those in charge.

I wonder the reaction had your parents told them that you had an allergy to something - would they heap things you were allergic to on your plate and make such comments?

For adults - their actions were childish to say the least.

  5. Wow. If you're attending a private school, your parents are paying out of pocket DIRECTLY to insure that you're taken care of, and this includes your meals. You need to set the record straight with these *ladies*.

  6. I'm having a hard time believing that they would give you more meat (sorry if it's legit).....schools are already very on edge about setting off students and parents because people are so sue happy these days. If the story is true, I'm sure you could file a complaint.

  7. I went to a public school and the ONLY thing they served that was vegetarian was a salad, and even that had cheese and egg in it. Of course it's not fair, but most people don't feel like they have to accommodate the lone vegetarian. I eventually gave up on the cafeteria and just brought my lunch. It tasted better anyway.

On another note, kids will always make fun of you if you're different, no matter what reason. If you ate kosher, you'd get made fun of. If you didn't eat dessert, you'd get made fun of. It's best just to ignore them.

  8. thats absolutely unfair.  what if you were muslim and they heaped your plate with ham on purpose becuase they thought you should eat it?!??!  you and your parents especially need to complain to anyone and everyone who will listen.  tha'ts not fair at all. what if you are allergic to dairy and they load cheese on your food???  it's your choice what to eat and especially if you have your parents permission it's not up to them to declare what they think is best for you.  do tehy want the research on obesity in children? heart disease?  how not healthy meat consumption is?  they have no right to do what they are doing. complain. asap.

  9. No way! It's your choice and they should respect that, whether they agree with it or not! You wouldn't give nuts to a kid with a not allergy. Why give meat to a vegetarian.

  10. That's ridiculous. And yet I bet if you said it was for religious reasons they'd not give you meat... I hate the lack of respect for veggies. Maybe your only choice is to bring a packed lunch. Your school does seem very backward
