Schoool start time do you think is crazy?

i NEED to wake up @ 6 am this year because my son is startting middle school and his bus pass by 6 50 am do you think is crazy that we need to wake up so early

I hate it seriously they need to start school at like 11 cuz I don't get much sleep I go to bed at like 2 or 1 cuz I can't sleep unless its that time and I wake up at 6 and its so hard to wake up at time. Then I go to first period and all I do in that class is sleep pray for me I pass that class

not crazy at all. i have to wake up at 6 every morning for school. school starts at 7:20 this year. sometimes i have to wake up at 5:30 when i need to do things before school.

F U CK YES ITS CRAZY! My bus comes at 6:40 am and I miss it almost every day. I'm in high school and this started when I was in middle school...I thought I would adjust but I never did it. It sucks so much!

yeah it is crazy. last year my bus came at like 6:30. i was so tired during the day i would  sleep in study hall

We homeschool, and we wake early but thankfully do not have that rush to get out the door and everything you have to do before leaving.

Many studies have shown that it would be most beneficial for students, especially older ones, for school to start later.  Very few districts, however, have adopted the new schedules to correspond with those studies.  

I think that it is absurd to have students waiting on a bus before 7 a.m.  It is not safe, either-part of the year, they will be standing out there in the dark!

you get the wonderful privilege of waking up even earlier.

i wake up every morning at five to go to school.
