Bayern Munich midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374 has insisted that he has always idolised the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Eric Cantona and followed their game.
The Bavarian claimed that he has always followed the game of the two French legends and sometimes also tries to emulate them in his own game. The player showered praise on the duo and added that he has learnt a lot from watching
these former players.
Schweinsteiger claimed that every player has an idol when he’s growing up and he has grown up lauding the likes of former Real Madrid midfield maestro, Zinedine Zidane. He insisted that the former French international was a special
player and one of the best he has seen. He added that former Manchester United forward Eric Cantona also had outstanding ability and was a terrific talent.

“What is football without its heroes and thousands of adoring fans backing them till the very end? Zinedine Zidane will, of course, be my idol, but Eric Cantona as well. Zidane, though, was something special,” he was quoted as
saying in an interview to Hindustan Times.
The German international claimed that Zidane was an inspiration as he led the team brilliantly. The Bavarian added that Zidane had a very quiet personality and talked through his game. He stated that the former Los Blancos player’s
inspirational performance in the 1998 World Cup was a sensational achievement and also hailed the Frenchman’s performances in that competition.
“I think I don't have to mention why, but what inspired me the most was that Zidane was leading the team through the way he played; he was not a person of big words but a leader because of his aura,” he concluded.
The midfielder hopes to rejoin the team after the winter break after recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered in a UEFA Champions League clash against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003. He had a collision with midfielder Gokhan Inler and broke his collar
bone in the process.
Bayern Munich are currently in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/India-c750 to take part in an exhibition match against the Indian national football team on January 10 in New Delhi.
