Head coach Joachim Low is confident that the talented player will replicate his club form on the international stage, in which he has scored three league goals so far. The manager stated that Schweinsteiger was omitted from the
squad for a purpose and that has worked as he is back to his best now.
"We did not choose him last time for a reason and that was to give him a chance in peace and quiet to get back into training and match rhythm," Low was quoted as saying in an interview.
The trainer said that he is pleased to see the veteran regain full fitness with the Bavarian club and he would have selected the starlet in any case for the Ireland and Sweden games.
"His performances with Bayern have shown that this was precisely the right choice. I am delighted that Bastian is back with us. It was always certain that Bastian would be in the squad for Ireland and Sweden," he added.

"It is obviously a very bitter injury for Julian. We all wish him a speedy recovery," he finally concluded.
