The 52-year old revealed that Bastian is fit to play otherwise his name would not be in contention for a start against Cesare Prandelli’a men. He reckons he only chooses players who are 100 percent fit otherwise they sit on the
bench.
"There are only 100 per cent fit players. No player will run out if he is only operating at 80 or 90 per cent capacity. All players are fit, I assume Schweinsteiger will play," he added.
The Nationalelf need a fully fit Schweinsteiger if they want to keep their hopes of lifting the trophy alive. Without him Germany will not be able to contain the pass master that Andrea Pirlo is.
