Schwinn 700c Prelude or Schwinn Varsity?

Both bikes for around 200. Any differences or are they similar? Is one better than the other? Is a hybrid better for me? Very ocasional riding

Choose whichever one floats your boat, and use the other one as an anchor. There isn't enough difference between them- based on component level- to matter.
