ok i cant get this question, so if you guys could help me out?

Here it is:

  1. My friend, liquids and gases are FLUIDS and because the spaces between molecules are so large, they will take the shape of the container. Solids are "tighter" in molecules space and can not take the form of the container. There are a few nice videos in you tube about this situation about fluids.

  2. Liquids and gases particle movements consist of rotation, translation and vibration, making it easy to 'fill in' the container. However, solids are restricted to just vibration, so it cannot take on the shape of the container unless the bonds were broken.
