Im asking something very simple from you guys.

Give me any project BUT you also have to give me the independent & dependent variables and the control, because thats what will get me an A+ for science class.

Please I'll give 10 freakin points to the best project given to me! & it better be easy.

  1. Some animals use camouflage as a way to protect themselves.  Research this a bit in order to define key terms such as predator, prey, camouflage, defense behavior, etc.  Then:

Get a few large bags of M&M candies.  Count how many different colors of M&Ms you have.  Let's say you have 5 colors.  You will then transfer at least 25 M&Ms of each color into 6 ziploc baggies, zip these, and shake to mix them up.  You can do more or less of each color, just be sure to put the same amount of each color into every bag.

You will then get 5 pieces of colored constuction paper, each piece matching an M&M color, plus 1 white piece of construction paper.

Get 3 - 4 "predators".  Don't tell them your idea so that they will not be biased.  Give them all sunglasses so that the light will dim a bit (Or dim the lights if you are able) You will dump each bag of candy onto a different piece of construction paper.  Give your predators 10 seconds to eat as many pieces as they can on each piece of paper.  (10 seconds per piece) You will then count the number of candies left on each piece of paper.

You will then analyze the data to determine if the number of candies eaten differed if the paper color changed.

The control is the white piece of paper, with no camouflage.

The independent variable is the colored construction paper.

The dependent variable is the amount of candies eaten of each color.

  2. You want an easy A+, figure out what to do for yourself then. If you like sucess then learn to do it on your own, if you want to rely on other people for your gain then your an idiot, your yahoo points mean nothing

  3. The effect of different detergents (independent) on the cleanliness of clothing (dependent).

Control: Wash cycle with no detergent.

To do this experiment, spill c**p all over shirts in equal amounts...(measure them out). Then, wash one shirt with one detergent, checking cleanliness.... then keep using different detergents. and wonderful. you're done.
