hello people!

there is a competition being held in our college about science projects. in which we have to give ideas and present the models of the THINGS that can be made in future. we have to give just any idea e.g. one idea is that a device with the help of which human beings can be teleported to anywhre in the world.... etc

Please suggest me more ideas about future things relating to Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.

I am waiting for your answers........

Thanks

  1. Battery car. I saw a neat one that fit in the back of a van. He made it from bike frames and wheels, two theater seats, and emergency light batteries. The motor and gearbox was taken from a disabled mobile unit.

  2. cars that can travel on travel on land and water

  3. A tv screen sorta thing that you can roll up and put in your pocket

  4. Sure. I think you'll agree that outer space is fun, and medical things (enhancing human life and such) are something I find nice.

Computers: Quantum computing and artificial intelligence are big things these days. Artificial intelligence would be useful in unmanned space exploration (e.g. the Mars rover), and you might also find direct neural interfaces interesting (imagine a wheelchair for the completely paralyzed). Data compression and web search are probably good ideas.

Physics: Outer space propulsion is also a big thing; you could study more and less efficient ways of doing things, and maybe design a rocket engine. A smaller thing is heat transfer: when something heats up in a space ship, there's very little outside the ship to conduct the heat away, so cooling off in outer space could be difficult. See how you could modify an air conditioner to work in outer space.

Chemistry: Designing (or, at least, pondering) a better battery would be a nice and simple chemistry project. It might also be interesting to see the role of acids and bases, or sugars or salts, in the human body.

Biology: Didn't I cover this already? :-) Indeed, biology is closely related to chemistry as well as physics, and computers can also play a small role. You could also look at things like what parts of the skeleton play what roles.

Mathematics: Try challenging people to find counterexamples to the Collatz and Goldbach conjectures. (Wikipedia can tell you what they are. :-) Take a look at what work has been done, and I suppose you can tell whether you think the conjecture is true or false in your presentation.

Have fun! After all, a fun science project is usually better than a boring one, isn't it?

  5. how about something that cures blindness. Like a false eye, not a wooden or glass one though. That uses physics and math with different angles and lines of vision and computer apps because its going to be some type of machine.

  6. Some type of machine that teaches students based on the students' unique learning styles, thus giving them the best education possible in the best way available for that particular person.
