Question

Find the two theories to the existence of the universe. What can one explain which the other can't?

The theory of Creationism vs The Big Bang theory.

Big Bang states that there was a bang from a tiny little atom that contained all of the universes matter. But where did the atom come from? Was it always there? Were there more? Creationism states that God was always there. It's not so much can one 1up the other, better yet, can one fuse with the other? Can The Big Bang be a metaphor for "Let there be light"?

Big bang and quantum bubble theory are two of many theories and bubble theory explains the exact creation of the universe which the big bang can't.

The alternative to the big bang theory is the Bane one. This one relies on multi dimensions and when they clash lots of energy is produced throughout the universe. So effectively instantaneous expansion from an atom size is not required.  Search the BBC web site for a radio program on this subject.
