Science experiment need opinions?

ok me and my friend are doing a science experiment. we are trying to see if people think guys or girls will say hi back the most when you say hi to them.all i need is for you to tell us which gender u think will respond(in a nice way) the most

Actually it has a lot to do with how YOU start the ball rolling.  Are you friendly and genuine or is it obvious you are doing an experiment.  

Also how are you dressed, what do you clothes say about you and what you want.  

Body language also plays a part.

The bottom line is you can't conduct any experiment without you yourself influencing the result.

from my experience guys and girls respond to "hi" or any other greeting in different ways. so are u just gonna see who verbally responds or any form of a greeting like a wave or a nod, etc.?

most girls say hi or wave, and alot of guys just nod or wave, or say "whatsup" or "hows it goin".

it also depends on where u say hi to them, if its in a hallway and they're just passing buy, or if u directly approach them and talk for a little bit, cuz ppl respond differently in those situations.

so from a scientific point of view, there's too many variable involved and i suggest u control the experiment more, or do your project on some other behavior.

it depends on the s*x and the looks of the person initiating the hello.  Their looks can change things in two ways:  are they attractive or not?  do they look a little 'off' or do they look relatively benign.
