Science fair projects that deal with mice/rodents?

I need help finding a really cool science fair project that can get me to state. It needs to really interest me, so, please give me different ideas. I love mice! I want to use rats.

how about a maze, but use different rewards at the end of the maze and see how the performance of the rat changes if there is a good reward or a not so good reward

be sure to have control rats for each kind of reward, those ones are constant.  also have a control for the time variable it takes for a rat to learn the maze and how well it can remember the maze and how it's time improves.

and then some rats that have varying rewards

your hypothesis could be that if rats are well rewarded, then they will have faster times than a rat with a bad reward.

after your testing you should do some statistics on the data and conclude if rats that had a better reward had significatly faster times or not.  the test that you would want to use is called ANOVA
