Science help does anyone know the answer to some of these questions (10 points up for grabs)?

Can anyone help with some of these questions:

1) Give the name of a nitrogen-containing salt which plants absorb from soil

2) Explain why dairy farmer’s want the grass on there farms to grow quickly

3) Plants need other conditions as well as a supply of nitrogen to grow well. Give 4 other conditions plants need for growth

4) Nitrogen fertilizers may be washed into ponds and streams

a) What effect will the fertilizer have on the number of plants growing in water?

b) What will happen to the concentration of oxygen in water as a result of this? Explain your answer

c) What will happen eventually to the population of plants in the pond and stream? Explain your answer

i know the answer only for the fourth question

when Nitrogen fertilizers get washed into ponds and streams ,

they increase the growth of the plants in the pond or stream.

some plants like water lily,cover the surface of water ,reducing the gas exchange.

therefore the aquatic animals will die due to less oxygen that is dissolved in water.

naturally,there will be tremendous growth in the plants.

5)a)fungi and bacteria

   b) these require oxygen to respire and grow and they will      take it from the water. This is called BOD biological oxygen demand.

c)  diversity of fish types will reduce, maybe even to zero as only those able to tolerate lower oxygen levels will survive or be forced out of that stretch of watercourse (example trout needs high oxygen, carp tolerates lower oxygen)
