He required all of his players to read it while he was coaching the Texas Rangers.  He is the last player to hit over .400 and the only person to do so in the Modern Era.  

If you want to hit, take his advice.

Ive read only bits of pieces of it in my school library and thinking about getting it out next year. From what i read i would recommend it.

Very good book. Helped me as a coach of little league. I also had both my boys read it at a young age, they loved it. Both have been all-star players in youth baseball and my oldest is a starter at high school.
