  1. Go to sidroth.org . It's all about supernatural healings and miracles, a HUGE wealth of information there. You'll be riveted.

  2. I think this is a pretty good one.  It's harmless, too -- the fundies won't be upset.  Everything you will read in this wiki article about the hydrologic cycle was revealed by science.  Ancients didn't know what caused the rain.  They attributed it to all manner of miracles and magic.

In a closely related subject, you might want to mention about lightning, another source of ancient mystical speculation which we now know in great detail.

And even another thing which relates to this: rainbows.  That alone, would make a good topic.  I don't believe there was a human alive 4000 years ago who even considered the possibility that rainbows were anything but miraculous.

  3. the secret, 'the field' by Mc Taggart, 'matrix energetics' by Bartlett

these will help you understand.....Matrix is a smallish book that you can get through kinda quickly and you can apply the stuff in it right off. will change what you think is possible.

Some would argue there are no miracles, just our misunderstanding of how the world works.

  4. 'Miracles' are pretty much all religious - otherwise, it's just considered paranormal.  And all of them, when you look into them, have a mundane, natural explanation.  Joe Nickell wrote a good book called 'The Real Life X-Files' on this topic.  Or you can check out http://www.skeptic.com for certain topics and the scientific (natural) explanations.

  5. There is no science of miracles.  A miracle is just a catchword for something that has not been explained satisfactorily to someone.  It also frequently implies that the events are not common and are beneficial.

Scientists do not believe in miracles, but they do recognize that there are improbable events which nevertheless happen.

  6. One day there will be convergence of science and religion, and there will be some interesting discussions by people who know.

  7. Check out Science of Mind and A Course in Miracles. Also check out The Secret.
