  1. Maybe you got the wrong sport.  Baseball is a science.  Soccer is not.

Do it on baseball and if you understand baseball at all.. You'll have 50 pieces of science in 5 minutes lol.

  2. Science in soccer? what do you mean by that?  If you want actual science like weather, physics, chemical components, then that shouldn't be too hard.

You can discuss the surface area and weight of the ball and how that affects its flight.  You can mention the spin and how it causes the ball to move differently in the air.  The playing surface can be discussed on how it affects the balls speed, control, and players footing.  Also the temperature could affect the flight making it go farther if it is warmer or colder.

The material of the ball affects the distance and curving capabilities.  Gravity affects the ball as well as were the foot comes into contact.  If the foot applies force across the side, the ball will spin and curve, if applied to the middle, the ball will knuckle and sink.

    did that help?

  3. Soccer is full of physics

    1.  gravity

    2. force

    3. friction by the turf

    4. friction by air (ask goalies about knuckling soccer balls)

    5. force of kicks.....

jeez, this list could go on forever

  4. think about physics for your answers...

When the goalie jumps up with force, gravity pulls him back down again.  The energy from the kickers foot is transferred to the ball in a kick, causing the ball to fly through the air... and gravity brings it back down again.  If one player kicks another player, the energy from the kick can cause injury as the other player's body absorbs the impact.  The body will respond with pain signals, and swelling to the injury...

  5. Read about the laws of physics first, then watch a soccer game. Just

about all of the laws can be applied to the game, just look for

examples as the game goes on. Have fun!  I used to love Geometry

in High School, it made me a better player understanding its

    application to the game.
