I'm really stuck with this question can anyone help me please?

What is your concept of the term singularity. Do you believe this concept of the beginning of our Universe?

  1. A singularity is a relatively tiny point of infinite density where the gravitational attraction is so great that all matter as we know it collapses in on itself to occupy zero space.  Those who observe that the universe is expanding with galaxies separating like raisins in a loaf of rising bread reason that if the process is reversed everything in the universe would converge into a singularity (similar to the singularity postulated to occupy the center of every black hole).  If you viewed the film of a horse race in reverse it would seem equally reasonable to believe that the horses all began running at the starting gate.  For the universe the starting gate likely was a singularity.

  2.   A singularity is a point with no dimensions so it likely doesn't exist.

Nothing.not a singularity existed before the universe, but the nothing had a potential that resulted in the universe we see today.

  3. The singularity of the big bang had no mass, it was a point of pure energy in which there was no known physical laws, even the famous E=MC2 had no meaning because the only part that existed was the E.

Present evidence points to the big bang as being the way the universe began.

  4. the theory that Kes is speaking of is how I see it, too.... and that theory depends on the existence of  singularities.... not only of those in the center of 'black holes', but of an all-encompassing final one when all the matter of the Universe has been accumulated, after all the black holes and Great Attractors and dark matter and whatever else is out there, has all reached out to each other and combined  into the  one Big Crunch Singularity..... which would, for reasons yet unimagined, reach a point  of critical mass and go thru a 'Super Expansion' like the Big Bang and start the whole process again....

  5. Singularity is a point where things become undefined.

    Just like the function y = 1/x has a point of singularity at x = 0

and the function y = 1/(1-x) has the point of singularity at x = 1.

Similarly in Physics, singularity means the downfall of General Theory of Relativity. GR explains the evolution of universe with time but fails to do so at the point where everything was supposed to be concentrated. That is why that point is undefined and noone knows about it till date and we call it the point of "Singularity".
