Science project help!!!!?

Question

ok i'm doing this final project for science to graduate middle school

ok my project is about what plant will grow faster...

1. plant that gets enough water and sunlight but don't get fertilizer

or

2. plants that get fertilizer and get enough water but get limited sunlight

well my problem is i don't know what kind of plants to test

i need to do the experiment for about 2 weeks.

so i need help finding a plant to test any suggestion??

i need a PLANT SEED that easy to find in like walmart or kmart

and approriate for the weather here in washington STATE

Buy some dry beans at the store.   They sprout pretty fast and are easy to work with in small cups.
