Science project ideas plleease?

I need an idea for a science project. We're supposed to do the scientific method on nething we want to know. Perferebly something not expensive. Heeeelp!

Do a project to determine if yeast produces oxygen as it goes through respiration.   Yeast can be purchased at a grocery for almost nothing and then you can set up experiments with yeast, sugar, water and a few things such as beaker balloons etc.  Collect the gas produced as the yeast goes through its  life processes and  then insert a match or candle to see if it supports burning (whick requires  oxygen).  

I won't tell you if it does, you can hypothesize about the result making it a true experiment.  Your teacher (or the internet) can help you design a  set-up to do this expermient.  Teachers admire a student who asks for help like this.
